Desja Eagle Tail
Desja Eagle Tail is a regionally acclaimed singer known for her bluesy, soulful voice and a style mixing r&b, rock, and pop. Nominated 2019 Native American Music Awards for Best Country Recording and Female Artist of the Year. Winner of the the 2018 Native American Music Award for Best Country Song of the year (Never Let Me Go). She Performed at the 2014 Alaska State Fair, Montana Fair Billings Montana, Headline at the Alberta Bair Theater Bilings Montana,Valleyfest Spokane Valley (WA), Pig Out In The Park 2018 Spokane Washington and several Tribal-owned casinos in the state of Wyoming and Idaho. Also coordinating and performing in her benefit concerts Billings Montana United Way, are a few highlights of her career. Desja has also recorded two albums, one solely covers and her last album titled, "Never Let Me Go" included three originals. Her current project is an album of solely original music.
She graduated with honors from Montana State University Billings with a BA in Music Business. During her time in Billings, she was involved with local theater, including Hairspray the musical with Billings Studio Theater, Sweet Charity the musical and the opera Turandot with NOVA Center for the Performing Arts. NOVA holds a special place in her heart, as she not only performed in their productions, but also held her internship there, instructed music in their summer acting camp, worked as Box Office Manager and volunteered as an usher from time to time.
Desja is available to book for performances and also as a motivational speaker, as a young adult who has lived her life alcohol and drug free and continues to pursue her dreams, not only as a singer but also as an advocate and activist for Native Americans. ( Contact Info. )
